The development team working on the coming LEGO The Hobbit video game at TT Games and Warner Bros. is delivering a new trailer for the title, focused on the cooperative side of the experience, which will encourage players to work together to achieve their goals.

The newly revealed Buddy Up system is designed to allow main character Thorin Oakenshield and the rest of his dwarf companions to execute a number of spectacular moves that use their special abilities and their weapons to quickly defeat enemies.

The title is designed to follow the storyline seen in the movie based on the book by J.R.R. Tolkien and will allow players to explore the world of Middle-Earth as they are trying to regain access to their lost Kingdom of Erebor.

The use of LEGO bricks to create the game environments and characters means that gamers will be able to break anything around them in order to then create interesting items and weapons.

Bilbo Baggins and the Grey Wizard Gandalf will also play important roles in the story.

LEGO The Hobbit will be launched on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, current-gen consoles, the Wii U from Nintendo, and the 3DS and will be offered before the end of spring.
