Jason Vorhees recently became available as a playable character in Mortal Kombat X, and another episode of the Kombat Klass is now out, showing off his moveset.

The infamous machete-wielding madman is an iconic figure of the American horror movie genre, and now players all across the world have a chance to slash their way to the top of the leaderboards using him.

Each of his three variations enhances certain aspects of his preternaturally powerful abilities, while also allowing players dip into the star of Friday the 13th’s flavor and lore.

Slasher empowers his machete attacks by extending their range, Relentless lets him chase his opponents more effectively, with teleports and grabs, and Unstoppable offers Jason certain buffs such as healing over time and increased damage, and even enables him to resurrect once per round, consuming his meter to regain health.

The video below shows all of his skills in action, including his gruesome X-Ray move, and culminates with a brutal fatality that would make his mother proud.

Mortal Kombat X is NetherRealm Studios’ latest video game, available now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The fighting video game is also coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 home consoles, a little later this year.
