14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, believes that the newly revealed The Division from Ubisoft is one of the titles that will compete with The Phantom Pain in the coming years.
The legendary game creator is quoted by Game Informer as saying that his new game “received a good reaction, but after seeing Ubisoft’s The Division I felt I have to work harder.”
He adds, “At E3 we’re fighting against the powerhouses of the whole world.”
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is designed to bring the series back to its stealth action roots and will tell the most ambitious story of the franchise so far.
The game is set to be launched on the Xbox One, the 360, the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 at some point in 2014.
