The development team at Warhorse is announcing that it has managed to successfully fund its Kingdom Code: Deliverance project via Kickstarter. It is now officially starting work on the video game and will soon have more info to share with fans.

More than 35,000 people have offered money for the game, which has managed to raise about three times more than the studio initially asked for.

An update on Kickstarter reads, “As promised, we will release an Alpha version in about six months to all those who pledged Baron-level support and higher, and we’ll be carefully looking at your feedback on our forums, which are open to all of our backers.”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is designed to offer an open world Medieval combat experience with high quality visuals and a lot of historical accuracy.

The game will be offered on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PC and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
