The development team at The Odd Gentlemen and publisher Activision are delivering a new video for King’s Quest, which is designed to show fans of the series how the rebooted experience will handle one of the most important elements of the series: the music.

Composer David Stanton talks about the classic titles and about the way he has worked with the characters of the coming episodic series to make sure that the score is perfectly matched with the atmosphere and the state of the world.

The first episode for the new King’s Quest experience will be offered via download on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC, and older home consoles.

The involved companies have not said how many installments will be offered and how long gamers will have to wait between them.

King’s Quest will not be linked to the classic titles and will offer a completely new take that will use familiar themes and characters and will seek to update the mechanics of the adventure genre.

King Graham will explore a story about a dragon, a well and a mirror in the first episode, and the development team says that it will be easier than ever for players to interact with the environment and the puzzles.
