Video game developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony announce that they are planning to launch the first elements of the Clans feature for Killzone: Shadow Fall in early February, as part of patch 1.09.

The company explains in an official blog post that it is appreciating all the feedback coming from players and wants to make sure that it satisfied their expectations.

Guerrilla Games states, "We truly appreciate the passion you've demonstrated in helping Killzone Shadow Fall become the best it can be, and we apologize for the time it’s taking to implement our full vision for the clan system. To make the wait more bearable, we’ve decided to roll out clan features in multiple phases."

The first phase of Clans will introduce the core features of the concept, including tags and management options on a dedicated website.

With new patches for Killzone: Shadow Fall the mechanics will be expanded and the development team also plans to offer info on a first DLC pack.
