Killzone: Shadow Fall, the upcoming first-person shooter for the PlayStation 4 next-gen console, will ship with 10 different multiplayer maps for its online mode and all future levels are going to be released as free DLC, according to developer Guerrilla Games.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is set to make its debut alongside the PlayStation 4 this November, and a few new details about the game's multiplayer have just appeared, via the PS blog.

According to the post, Shadow Fall's online mode will have 10 default maps but Guerrilla has already confirmed that it's working on plenty of other levels that will be released as DLC after the game's launch.

However, all those map packs will be released free of charge, so that all owners of the game can enjoy the fresh levels in the multiplayer mode.

There are plans to release other types of DLC, such as modifiers for the Warzone mode, but it's unclear if those will come at a cost.
