Steven Ter Heide, the game director of the PlayStation 4 exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall, says that his favorite video games of 2013 were Minecraft, in which he spent the most time, Bejeweled on his phone and Borderlands 2 on the PlayStation 3.

The developer also admits that he wanted more time to enjoy other experiences and tells the PS Blog that, “Last of Us is a game that deserved my full attention, but simply didn’t have time for. I still have a huge backlog of games, but I wonder if I can go back, as the new offerings on PS4 are also very enticing.”

Ter Heide goes on to talk more about his favorite book of the year and about his plans for New Year’s Eve.

Killzone: Shadow Fall was one of the launch titles for the PlayStation 4, designed to show off the best features of the new console and draw in first-person shooter fans.
