Developer Tripwire Interactive has released the Killing Floor Twisted Christmas Thrill Chill 2014 update, available on Steam for everyone to enjoy.

This year, the studio is spreading the Holiday Cheer through a new map, the Thrills and Chills Amusement Park, and through the option to turn all Zeds into Holiday Event Zeds, thematic winter and Christmas-appropriate monsters.

The Thrills and Chills Amusement Park is set in a quaint rural setting, in an Alpine village, and will give players the opportunity to take a trip on the Fireball ride, admire an imposing Christmas Tree and visit the Petting Zoo and even Santa's Workshop.

Both servers and clients acting as servers can use the special Holiday Zeds, not limited to the Christmas ones, but also including the Summer Specimens and the Halloween Specimens.

Tripwire Interactive is currently also working on a sequel to Killing Floor, which will bring even more crazy (and sick) action and will introduce the most detailed dismemberment system ever seen in a video game, which will no doubt turn to be like catnip for katana enthusiasts.

You can get the Killing Floor Twisted Christmas Thrill Chill 2014 Update from Steam and enjoy a different kind of jolly atmosphere right now.
