Developer Tripwire Interactive has released a brand-new trailer for Killing Floor, the upcoming sequel to their sick first-person shooter, showing off various instances of confidential footage from Horzine Biotech's experiments.

The video shows various specimens of Zeds running around stirring chaos on the streets of Paris. The footage is apparently taken from Horzine Biotech's security "specimen training videos," which are utilized to identify the mutants in order to assess the threat level of the situation.

The first video in the series showcases five different specimens, Clot, Slasher, Crawler, Cyst and Fleshpound, all of them filmed escaping through the underground and then raining destruction on the city.

Developer Tripwire Interactive explains that the vid was created with in-engine footage, using actual game models and animations.

The original Killing Floor started out as an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod, and after the standalone versions sold over 2.5 units, it afforded the development team the opportunity to make a truly great game, with ample financial resources.

Killing Floor 2 is currently in development for Windows PC and for Valve's SteamOS, and the devs have mentioned that the game will initially be available through Steam Early Access, but no time frame for the release has yet been provided.
