Two of the big exclusive Xbox One games showed by Microsoft at its E3 2013 press conference, Killer Instinct and Project Spark, might be free-to-play on the next-gen console.

However, they'll be supported heavily by paid DLC, according to two reports.

Microsoft showed many different games at E3 2013 last week for the Xbox One, including Killer Instinct, a reboot of the old fighting franchise, and Project Spark, an open world game that lets players create anything they want.

According to IGN, Killer Instinct will get a free-to-play edition that includes only Jago as a fighter.

Videogamer also reports that Project Spark will also be a free experience, although players will have to buy different premium DLC packs to get extra features.

As of yet, Microsoft hasn't revealed any official details about the two Xbox One games.
