Fans of the kung-fu and rhythm mashup game KickBeat will be pleased to know that the game is heading to Steam, after first being published for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Creators Zen Studios have many other arcade titles under their belt, and for the Steam version of KickBeat they have prepared some nifty updates that fans will surely find to their liking.

The PC edition of KickBeat will see six exclusive tracks from the Electronic Super Joy OST indie electronic artist enV in the single-player campaign that now has a grand total of 24 tracks.

The Beat Your Music mode will be available much earlier in the campaign, allowing players to create custom tracks prior to completing the existing content.

The difficulty progression has received some tweaks, bringing about a much more refined learning curve in higher difficulties.

The game will also benefit from enhanced visuals and will get 42 Steam Achievements as well as Steam Trading Cards and Steam Cloud Support.

Kickbeat is cross-buy compatible between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, and will be available on Steam starting January 20.
