Video game developer Remedy Entertainment and EMI Music Publishing Scandinavia have announced that they are working together to bring two tracks to the soundtrack of the upcoming Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, with Kasabian providing “Club Foot” while Ed Harcourt delivers “watching the Sun Come Up”.

Andreas Olsson, who is the vice president of Sales at EMI Music Publishing Scandinavia, stated, “Having already worked with Remedy on their previous Alan Wake title we were more than happy to continue our relationship with them and I believe that our combined ability to select and supervise moody tracks for Remedy’s upcoming action-adventure will result in a better gameplay experience.”

Oskari Häkkinen, the head of franchise development at Remedy, added, “Music played an important role in the original Alan Wake and we’ve carried that tradition over to American Nightmare with an exceptionally strong selection of original and licensed songs.”

The developer also promises other original songs for the soundtrack of American Nightmare, which is set to be launched on the Xbox 360 in 2012.
