14 DAY TRIAL // The Kane and Lynch movie is apparently back on track, as a new report claims that Gerard Butler might play the role of Kane, while Vin Diesel is being courted for the part of Lynch.
The Kane and Lynch games didn't exactly break the mold in terms of gameplay, but they had a pretty intriguing story that focused on the two great protagonists.
As such, a movie based on the title was quickly set up and it was even supposed to feature Bruce Willis as Kane and Jamie Foxx as Lynch.
Now, according to a new rumor from THR, it seems that two new actors are in talks for the upcoming movie – Gerard Butler as Kane and Vin Diesel as Lynch.
There's no word yet on actual contracts, but apparently the movie will be made by Millennium Films, as Felix Gary Gray (The Italian Job) will direct, while Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard) and Kyle Ward (Machete Kills) will write the screenplay.
