Developer thatgamecomany, best known for creating Journey, says that it wants its next game to reach a wider audience and connect with it on a deep human level.

Jenova Chen, the founder of the studio, is not yet ready to offer any clear details about the experience that he is working on.

He is quoted by VG247 as saying that the project is still in the initial stages of development, which the company uses in order to generate its impressive gameplay mechanics.

He states, “It’s always been the pattern of thatgamecompany that we spent 75 per cent of time doing R&D and a smaller portion of time on production.”

Journey picked up a number of Game of the Year awards and Chen believes that his new title can be a commercial success while also making money by capturing more people.
