The PlayStation 4 has lost a few thousand sales on the Japanese hardware market just as all other devices it is competing with have managed to post solid increases for the week that ended on March 30, with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd launching at the top of the software chart.

The 3DS handheld from Nintendo has managed to sell 64,632 units to its fans during the week, which is an increase over the 40,276 it has previously managed and largely on par with the numbers it was posting last year, according to NeoGAF.

The PlayStation Vita has also seen a boost to 41,867, coming from 37,128, while the PlayStation 4 went down to 23,327 coming from just over 30,000.

The PlayStation 3 is close to matching its next-gen brother at 17,154 and the Wii U has managed to go over the 13,000 mark for the first time in months.
