The 3DS shows no signs of slowing down in the long term

The Nintendo 3DS is probably already bored of spending every week at the top of the Japan video game hardware chart, but the company producing the device is certainly happy with the fact that it has managed to deliver yet another 25,015 handhelds to fans of mobile gaming.

The PlayStation Vita continues to stay in second place in the classification for the week of May 25, with 14,096 platforms sold, while the Wii U has managed to take the last place on the podium and become the best-selling home console, according to NeoGAF.

The Nintendo-made device shifted 8,858 units to gamers, significantly more than at the same time last year, and has managed to overtake the more recent PlayStation 4 from Sony, with sales of 7,387, and the older PS3.

World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014: Samurai Blue Challenge for the PS3 from Konami is the best-selling video game of the period, with sales of 47,726 copies.
