This week has delivered a serious decline in sales for all hardware that’s offered on the Japanese market, but one of the biggest losers is the recently launched PlayStation 4 from Sony.

The best-selling platform is once more the 3DS handheld from Nintendo, which has managed to deliver 32,038 devices to gamers, down from almost double that number during the previous week, while the second placed PlayStation Vita has also gone down from 41,687 to just 26,388.

According to Media Create data quoted by NeoGAF, the PS4 has managed to sell 13,401 units in one week, which is a big decline from the 23,247 it managed before and just a little more than the older PS3 has registered.

The Wii U is back to its normal figures, shifting just 7,962 device in one week.

The video game chart is dominated by Mario Party: Island Tour, from Nintendo, which has managed to deliver another 47,106 copies to gamers in order to reach a total of more than half a million since it was launched.

The rest of the top ten includes: Samurai Warriors 4, Yo-kai Watch, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Just Dance Wii U, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd, J-Stars Victory Vs on PS3, J-Stars Victory Vs on Vita, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd on Vita and Pro Baseball Spirits 2014.
