The Japanese video game charts are led once more by Pokemon X & Y, which might become the biggest launch of the year, and by the 3DS handheld, which at the moment has no strong rival in the hardware space.

The Nintendo device moved 154,578 units to gamers for the week that ended on October 20, which is a 40 percent decline over the previously tracked period.

Media Create data coming from NeoGAF also shows that the PlayStation Vita lost half of its own sales, reaching just 25,763.

The PlayStation 3 posted a smaller decline and is followed by the Wii U, which is under 3,000 for the first time.

The newest Pokemon experience managed to deliver 473,151 units to its fans and is close to 2.4 overall sales.

The rest of the top ten includes: Monster Hunter 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Sentouchuu: Densetsu no Shinobi no Survival Battle!, Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, FIFA 14, Beyond: Two Souls, Soccer Tsuku: Pro Soccer Club!, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and Dangan-Ronpa 1-2: Reload.
