The full songs are available free and are a parting gift and thank you to the loyal fans

As we all know, Irrational Games, the studio behind the highly acclaimed BioShock series, is closing down, and they have decided to offer three original songs from their latest creation, BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2, as... well, as some sort of swan song.

The BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 DLC launched last week, putting the entire series to rest, delivering a copious amount of fan-service and failing to properly explain just how the intricate timelines and events fit snugly together, something that JJ Abrams fans love while others consider bad writing and a sign that not even the devs knew what they were doing.

Whatever your opinion might be, and whatever the DLC might be lacking in terms of closure, we liked the episode, as you can see by checking out our review of BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2, and consider it to be a very good example of worthwhile DLC that expands the game while at the same time adding something new, without feeling as if it should have been part of the original game.

Back to Irrational's goodbye. The company released three full length original songs this weekend, as a parting gesture and thank you to the series' fans. The three tracks come from the Burial at Sea extension, a jingle for the Old Man Winter plasmid, a folk anti-establishment song and a lovely propaganda song for indoctrinating the Little Sisters of Rapture.
