Video game publisher Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for its upcoming Inversion shooter, which is being created by Saber Interactive, showing how the title will actually turn shooting upside down by manipulating gravity.

The trailer is pretty straightforward and shows players exactly how the third person shooter will mess with gravity, one of the fundamental forces of the universe.

Temporarily eliminating it from the picture will make most enemies vulnerable and will allow players to get some quick kills in before they adapt.

Saber Interactive has worked on the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary remake and they seem to have experience when it comes to shooters, which might make Inversion a solid video game as long as they do not focus solely on the gravity angle.

Inversion will be launched on February 7 of 2012 in North America and three days later in Europe, playable on the PC, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony.
