If you like Doom, old-school metal and anime, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out DemonSteele. The newest trailer, dubbed Stronger than Steel, shows precisely why.

The mod is a total conversion of GZDoom/Zandronum, that alters the title to become a very fast-paced agile brawler, focused on ninja kicks and katana slashing, as well as more esoteric stuff like Kamehamehas.

The game was designed as a love letter to the '80s and offers a unique experience that lets you destroy countless legacy Doom creeps in a completely new way.

The fast-paced hack-and-slash brawler also has guns and makes use of Doom's grandson's signature move, the rocket jump, because you kind of need to plant an explosion at your feet if you want to be getting places.

The game was constructed to reward agile movement and furious slashing and shooting, enabling the user to move very fast and to dodge incoming projectiles. Your overall effectiveness is determined by how many enemies you can kill, so killing stuff hard, fast and with brutality will make you even better at killing stuff hard, fast and with brutality.

You will gain access to special moves that allow you to level entire roomfuls in one fell swoop, charging at a crowd and cleaving them all with one explosive swipe.

DemonSteele comes with a story and everything, but we all know that it's all about killing stuff and over-the-top action sequences. The crazier things get, the better. Just check out the video below.
