Video game developer Infinity Ward says that it currently has no plans to revisit the Modern Warfare timeline of the Call of Duty series any time soon because all its resources are dedicated to the launch and support of Ghosts.

Tina Palacios, a community manager working at the company, tells The Official Xbox Magazine that, “With the storyline, we knew that we wanted to end the Modern Warfare franchise, and we wanted to go in a new direction. I can say that our focus and only focus is on Ghosts right now as it is, and we have no other plans at this time.”

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Wii U and the PC on November 5 all over the world.

The story of the shooter takes place in the near future after a cataclysmic event and an unknown enemy came close to defeating the United States.
