Infamous: Second Son will not have a multiplayer mode, developer Sucker Punch Productions has confirmed about its upcoming open world superhero game.

Infamous: Second Son is eagerly awaited by a lot of PS4 owners, as Sucker Punch has revealed a stunning game in the last few months via videos and screenshots.

Recently, the game's Japanese website mentioned that it would have online support, leading to a new round of speculation concerning a multiplayer mode.

Now, brand development Director Ken Schramm has clarified for UDN, via DualShockers, that the game will not have a multiplayer mode.

He’s also mentioned that protagonist Delsin Rowe will meet different partners during the story, but emphasized that Second Son is a single-player experience.

It's still possible, however, that the online support referred to a system for User Generated Content like missions, which has already appeared in Infamous 2.
