The development team at BioWare in charge of Star Wars: The Old Republic says that all players of the MMO should log in as soon as possible in order to make sure that they do not lose their characters name in the near future.

Free-to-play gamers who are below level 10 and have not played in 60 days are at risk, as are those under level 30 who have not played for 120 days, according to PCGamesN.

Players who have at one point paid for Star Wars: The Old Republic content will see the periods extended by 30 and 60 days.

All characters that are over level 30 will get to keep their names even if players who have created them are inactive.

Those who might be affected need to log into the MMO before 11:59 Pacific Standard Time on November 11.

BioWare is currently working on a Galactic Starfighter expansion for the game, which will introduce 12 player space battles.
