14 DAY TRIAL // Developers Omega Force and Team Ninja, and publisher Tecmo Koei are delivering another trailer for their upcoming Hyrule Warriors, which once again features main character Link and reveals the huge destruction power of the Fire Rod.
The game will use the core gameplay mechanics of the Dynasty Warriors series, which means that players will have to use a set of weapons and powers in order to take out huge numbers of enemies as fast as possible.
The developers have said that their versions of familiar characters from The Legend of Zelda series will be more powerful fighters and that they have sought to make each one unique and interesting to play as.
The story of the game deals with Cia, a powerful protector of the Triforce, who grows jealous of the connection between Link and Princess Zelda and turns to evil in order to separate the two.
Hyrule Warriors will be first offered in Japan on August 14 on the Wii U and it will then appear on European markets on September 19 and one week later in North America.
Nintendo says that the game has the power to appeal to a wide group of players and show how it can use classic characters to deliver innovative gaming experiences.
