Tamsoft, the studio behind the Senran Kagura games, is currently working on a Hyperdimension Neptunia game that's making its way to the PlayStation Vita.

The reveal was made in the latest issue of the Japanese video game magazine Degeki PlayStation, and the action game spin-off of the Neptunia series will be titled Hyperdimension Neptunia U and will launch in Japan on August 28, in both retail and digital forms, and with a limited edition as well.

Dengeki reports that the game will feature Neptune, Noir, Blanc and Vert, as well as their goddess metamorphoses and the new Dengeki mascot character Dengekiko.

Additionally, the magazine has also presented an update on the upcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II, stating that there will be a new character who goes by the name of Uzume Tenousei, who has red pigtails and carries a megaphone around.

The details kept pouring, and we have found out that there will be yet another new character, this time sporting blonde pigtails, maybe even a goddess, as well as a fully grown Neptune who can't become a goddess because she's not an adolescent anymore, and because she's different from the Neptune in the Hyperdimension.

The game will feature three different stories drawn across three different dimensions, featuring wacky titles such as Zero Dimension Game Neptune Z: Ragnarok of the Cliff Abyss Goddess, Hyperdimension Neptunia G: Gold Vanguard Gamindustri Existence of Change and Heart Dimension Game Neptune H: Trilogy Final Into the Legend.
