The Humble Origin Bundle offer that went live yesterday has become a massive success, managing to sell over 1 million units in just 36 hours, and collecting over $4.8 million (€3.5 million) for different charities around the world.

Electronic Arts surprised a lot of people when it partnered with the Humble Bundle team for a very special offer that included not just older titles but also quite a few new ones, like Dead Space 3.

The offer was a huge success, even forcing Electronic Arts to take the Redeem Code option in its Origin service offline due to the high demand.

Now, a new milestone has been reached, as in less than 36 hours, over 1 million copies of the bundle have been sold.

During this time, over $4.8 million (€3.5 million) has been raised for different charities, as EA opted to donate all of the proceeds to various humanitarian organizations from around the world.
