Nintendo has confirmed that yet another streaming service, Hulu, Plus will be arriving for its current consoles, the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Wii, after Netflix already appeared some time ago for the home console and more recently for the portable device.

The Japanese company is seriously promoting its current platforms, ahead of next year's Nintendo Wii U release, so the announcement of a new streaming service hitting the Wii and 3DS is definitely going to spark the interest of U.S. customers, who can now use their Hulu subscription to enjoy TV shows and series on the two Nintendo products.

The company hasn't given a concrete timeframe for the release of Hulu on the two platforms, but it did emphasize that, before the end of 2011, its customers will be able to enjoy the service.

Hulu, as well as Netflix, are also available on a variety of other devices, like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or iOS devices like iPhone, iPod or iPad.
