Dan Houser, one of the co-founders of Rockstar, says that GTA V is a very complex game that no longer focuses on shooting mechanics and instead aims to make players seek out and complete adventures.

The developer tells Thealistdaily that, "The games are hopefully getting good enough as pure adventures, and they’re interesting enough to play, that it’s not just about shooting anymore."

At the same time, Rockstar is aiming to actually reduce the overall difficulty level in order to make sure that every player can complete the missions and can experience the full range of the story that the studio is creating.

GTA V is at the moment available on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Rockstar will launch the Online mode for the game on October 1, which will create a new persistent set of worlds that up to 16 gamers can inhabit.
