Dennaton Games has announced a release window for the sequel to their top-down shooter Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.
Hotline Miami's furious 2D top-down action blends stealth with extreme violence, in the good old fashion of late '80s action flicks.
American crime drama film Drive is credited as inspiration for Hotline Miami, having a similar soundtrack and aesthetic vibe that borrows heavily from 1980s culture.
The announcement for the release window transpired via the game's Twitter, pointing to a Q3 2014 launch.
