Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the next iteration in the top-down brawler from Dennaton Games, could debut on March 10, at least according to a new teaser campaign set up by the developer and publisher Devolver Digital.

Hotline Miami was an indie hit when it appeared a few years ago, delivering intense top-down brawling action that was ultra-violent and ultra-responsive, allowing fans to take out rooms of bad guys in quick succession.

The game gained critical and sales acclaim, so indie studio Dennaton Games decided to start working on a sequel in partnership with publisher Devolver Digital.

After releasing quite a few gameplay videos, screenshots, and a few controversial details, it seems that the release date has just been made available, in the form of March 10.

However, it's not certain, as the two companies have revealed a phone number on the official Twitter that transmits a bunch of garbled words with only a single clear one – March. The tweet also mentions to call the extension 10 of the number, so it can translate into March 10.

As of right now, no official confirmation has been given for Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number's release but you can expect to hear more in the following days.
