14 DAY TRIAL // Agent 47, the second Hitman movie that was confirmed last year, will now star Rupert Friend instead of Paul Walker.
Paul Walker's death affected quite a lot of movies he was set to star in, from the new Fast and Furious to Agent 47, the sequel to the Hitman movie of 2007 based on the popular video game franchise.
Now, after a brief period of uncertainty, Variety confirms that Fox and Square Enix have decided to cast Rupert Friend instead of Paul Walker in the role of the bald-headed assassin. Friend is mostly known for his work on Homeland.
Filming will begin in February and Aleksander Bach will direct the new movie, based on a script from Skip Woods and Michael Finch.
As of yet, it's unclear when the new game-based film will actually appear.
