You can play as a door or wait for enemies to die of old age

Arkane Studios and Bethesda have released a special kind of April Fools' joke for fans of last year's Dishonored, showing some gameplay footage with commentary from the game's creators about hilariously fake mechanics, such as dynamic aging for enemies or the fact that AI-controlled characters who're killed by the player will come back to get their revenge in future games.

April Fools' has already delivered some pretty interesting jokes today, but it seems that a new video from Arkane Studios and Bethesda is set to be the most impressive.

The footage, available above, shows sequences from the game with commentary from co-creative directors Raf Colantonio and Harvey Smith.

Instead of talking about actual gameplay, however, the two developers talk about hilariously fake mechanics, like how the plants in the game grow over time and how some locations, such as the Golden Cat brothel, can be infiltrated in 700 ways.

The whole video is great fun and represents a welcome change of pace from regular April Fools' jokes.
