Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's multiplayer online battle arena title, will see a set of major changes when its official launch takes place in early June, as the studio plans on releasing new heroes and a lot of fresh content to mark that period.

Heroes of the Storm was rolled out as a closed technical alpha last year, and at the beginning of 2015, a special closed beta kicked off, with Blizzard inviting more and more people to try out the multiplayer strategy title.

While the studio has released some new content in recent months, such as heroes, battlegrounds, and features, the content release pace isn't exactly delighting fans who want more new things.

After promising some interesting changes that are coming for the game, Blizzard reveals, via GosuGamers, that the June 2 launch of Heroes of the Storm will also bring new things to the multiplayer experience.

More specifically, the meta game will change as many new players will join the title, not tot mention new heroes, so expect some interesting additions to the game's roster of heroes. New battlegrounds are also mentioned, as the studio is constantly working on new maps, while refining existing ones.

Heroes of the Storm enters open beta on May 19, while the full launch takes place on June 2.
