14 DAY TRIAL // Kalypso Media announced that the upcoming strategy game Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will be the first title released on its new digital label Kasedo Games, formerly known as Kobalt Games.
Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar is a historical real-time strategy game developed by Longbow Digital Arts, and will feature environments based on accurate satellite scans as well as famous battles right out of the history books.
Players will be offered a multitude of means by which to control their massive armies during Hegemony Rome's enthralling strategic campaign, complete with changing seasons, challenging military situations and advanced building and logistics options.
The game will be set to the backdrop of the forests of ancient Gaul, where Julius Caesar brought the barbarian hordes to their knees in a decade-long war, rendered by a robust and powerful visual engine.
Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will offer gamers four campaigns following the descriptions from Commentarii de Bello Gallico, with over 100 objectives and 20 factions available in the sandbox mode.
Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar is scheduled for release on PC, during the spring of 2014, going for £25 / €30 / $20.
