14 DAY TRIAL // Kalypso Media's new digital distribution branch Kasedo Games announced the launch of Longbow Games' historical strategy title Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar on Steam Early Access.
Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar is the sequel to Hegemony Rome: Wars of Ancient Greece, and will be made available starting February 12.
Players will get to guide the roman legions during Caesar's decade-long war in ancient Gaul, where he drove the barbarian hordes to their knees, and will feature challenging scenarios with changing seasons and dynamic military situations.
The game is currently near completion, offering the first two chapters in the campaign, amounting to around 12 hours of game time, with most of the main gameplay features implemented.
In preparation for the imminent Steam Early Access launch, developer Longbow Games has arranged to host two Developer Walkthroughs on Twitch, where they will reveal the gameplay for the very first time and answer question in a live chat session.
The first streaming session will be held on February 12, starting at 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET, with the second one intended for North American viewers following the next day, on February 13 at 20:00 EST. Both streams will be held on Kalypso Media's Twitch channel.
