Hearts of Iron IV is one of the most awaited strategy titles of the coming year and the team working on it at the Paradox Development Studios is ready to answer some of the questions that gamers have after they explored the first nine diaries linked to the game.

Dan Lind, the leader of the team working on the experience, is featured in a pretty long Paradox Twitch stream and answers a variety of inquiries starting around the 45 minute mark.

The game maker explains how the research and the new experience feature of the game work and why they open up new ways for players to customize their forces in Hearts of Iron IV, and there’s also more information about production lines, the way aircraft now affects combat and the choices that gamers have when it comes to politics.

The new grand strategy title focused on World War II aims to put more of an emphasis on the long-term strategic choices that players can make while making the entire conflict behave in more realistic ways, even if the leaders do not follow an entirely historical path.

Hearts of Iron IV will be offered on the PC, but the launch date has not been mentioned yet.

The Twitch stream also features information on Magicka, for those who prefer some wizard-based mayhem.
