Hearthstone is growing to be one of the most popular titles that Blizzard has created and the development team is getting ready to reveal a new expansion for the card game, which might get official details during the coming PAX East panel of the company.

A new set of data-mined details linked to a patch that has been recently deployed to the servers of the title suggests that the new content will be Blackrock Mountain-themed, with gamers able to get three new cards back called Molten Core, Ragnaros and Golden Celebration.

The name suggests that gamers will get more cards based around the area in World of Warcraft that bears the name, and it might also mean that a new module for the adventure mode, linked to the raid of the same name, might be added to the card game.

The company has already said that it wants to deliver content for Hearthstone at regular intervals in order to make sure that the player base stays engaged and continues to use real world money to get access to the Gold they need.

One problem that the title might face in the long term is card inflation, which is already affecting plenty of real world card games.

Blizzard has not offered any comment on the details extracted via data-mining.
