14 DAY TRIAL // One of the big new content drops coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection in the coming month is a new version of a classic map, with the team at 343 Industries ready to deliver a new take on Relic, called Remnant.
A new Halo Waypoint cannon-focused update explains that the map offers a lot of options when it comes to gameplay but suggests that its design and core elements make it interesting because it reveals a range of idea about the stories of the franchise.
343 Industries states, "Remnant features a towering and iconic Forerunner megalith, weathered by untold millennia. Resembling other artifacts on Delta Halo, this enigmatic megalith became the site of comprehensive research by Lisbon pioneer groups."
The studio offers more information about the way the area was affected by the events related to the Flood and the way Forerunner battles the invasion.
Remnant is designed to allow gamers to play a variety of modes in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
At the moment, the company has not announced when it will deploy the May content update for the title, which will also introduce the campaign from ODST.
Halo 5: Guardians is set to arrive on the Xbox One on October 27 of this year.
