The upcoming Halo title for the Xbox One will lead the lineup of post-launch exclusive games on the next-gen console, according to Microsoft's Phil Spencer, who hints that the new game is set to debut in the next 18 to 24 months.

The Xbox One is set to debut tomorrow, November 22, in 13 countries around the world and its lineup of launch day games includes quite a few exclusivities, from Forza Motorsport 5, to Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, and more.

In terms of post-launch titles, Microsoft's Phil Spencer is quite confident not just in the variety of other games set to debut in the next 18 to 24 months from third-party developers but also in the company's own big franchises, like Halo.

While talking to Polygon, he revealed that a launch date for Halo on Xbox One would be unveiled soon enough.

Until then, he can only say that the title will make its debut in the next two years.
