The upcoming Halo: Master Chief Collection will deliver the remastered versions of the first four entries in the legendary first-person shooter franchise, and a new video has popped up on the Internet, showcasing some of the enhanced multiplayer maps.

The video comes from VG247 and shows small clips of the Ascension, Coagulation, Sanctuary and Zanzibar maps, all revamped for the upcoming HD compilation.

The remastered maps come from Halo 2, and the gameplay footage is accompanied by commentary from Executive Produced Dan Ayoub, explaining how each of the maps was improved without altering the game flow in any way.

Apart from being a solid serving of fan service, the upcoming collection is also a great opportunity for newcomers to Microsoft's consoles to experience some of the most iconic games hailing from Xbox, with enhanced visuals, and to get a better grasp of the vast storyline before Halo 5 drops.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently scheduled for release exclusively on the Xbox One console, on November 11, and Halo 5: Guardians is coming sometime in 2015.

The Halo 5 beta test is set to take off on December 29, and all throughout the program players will be able to provide feedback and commentary through the new Halo Channel, available on the Xbox One and Windows Phone 8.1 devices starting November 11.
