Halo: The Master Chief Collection might still need to get some updates to improve the quality of the experience, but the Championship Series is progressing well and preparing for the biggest battle weekend of the first season, which is taking place starting on February 21 under the Gamers for Giving 2015.

The video includes a recap of the action so far and features appearances from Snip3down of Evil Geniuses and Chig of Denial eSports.

343 Industries states, "This sold out HCS tournament is a Platinum event and will dish out 3,000 HCS points to the winner. This is the final event to award HCS points and we’re expecting teams to pull out all the stops in order to secure a spot in the Season 1 Finals."

The teams that manage to book a ticket for the finals of Halo: The Master Chief Collection Championship will go to Boston in order to compete at the ESL Arena for a prize pool of 100,000 dollars (81,000 Euro).

All the Gamers for Giving matches will be delivered on Twitch and gamers will also be able to experience the Battle for Europe event on Sunday morning.

The coming update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is in testing and should be delivered relatively soon.
