The game introduces more content and comes with a price cut

The development team at Microsoft that worked on Halo: Spartan Assault announces that it will launch the Xbox One version of Halo: Spartan Assault on December 24, allowing all fans of the series to get access to the most recent title in the series on the powerful new console.

The game is set to be delivered via digital download and will cost 14.99 dollars or Euro and will run at 1080p resolution and a full 60 frames per second.

Halo: Spartan Assault is a twin stick shooter that will include an entirely new cooperative mode, more weapons for gamers to use and the entire Operation Hydra add-on.

The Microsoft team explains that, "fans that have purchased “Halo: Spartan Assault” for Windows 8 devices or Windows Phone 8 to date or purchase prior to December 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99."

Halo: Spartan Assault will also be launched on the Xbox 360 in January of 2014.
