A listing for a new Halo video game called Bootcamp has been revealed via the Korean Game Rating Board, which seems to suggest that an entirely new game in the franchise is being prepared for the PC and might feature elements from the third core installment in the series.

Microsoft tells GameFront that, "What’s Bootcamp? It is not related to our Xbox One efforts, or the Reclaimer Saga, but rather a project we’re very enthusiastic about and will have more to say about in the near future."

The company might be getting ready to create an entirely PC online experience that will only be launched in South Korea, probably featuring an extensive competitive element.

Microsoft is working with 343 Industries on a new Halo title for the Xbox One but the company has not yet offered information on it.

A live action series based on the universe will be created for the new console in collaboration with Steven Spielberg.
