After confirming the name and a few scarce details about Halo 5: Guardians, developer 343 Industries nailed down some technical aspects of the new first-person shooter, revealing that it runs at a 60fps framerate and has dedicated multiplayer servers.

Halo 5 was first presented to the world as an enigmatic teaser at E3 2013 last year. Since then, franchise developer 343 Industries and owner Microsoft remained silent, promising that more details are coming this year.

Yesterday, a few weeks before E3 2014 in June, the two companies presented to the world Halo 5: Guardians, the next entry in the series that will appear in fall of 2015.

Besides offering some loose details and promises about the next game, 343 Industries also mentioned on the Xbox Wire that Guardians will fulfill the studio's dream of delivering a title with a 60fps framerate and dedicated servers for the multiplayer mode.

"Making a Halo game that runs at 60 frames per second, on dedicated servers, with the scope, features and scale we’ve been dreaming of for more than a decade, is non-trivial. It’s a task that we, at 343 Industries, are taking very seriously to ensure we deliver the Halo game that fans deserve, and a game that is built from the ground up for Xbox One," it said.

You can expect to learn much more about Halo 5: Guardians at E3 2014 in June and until its release in fall of 2015.
