Halo 4 developer 343 Industries has just confirmed that the long awaited weapon balance update for the game's multiplayer will deliver a 35% damage increase for the chainguns mounted on the Warthog and the Mantis vehicles.

Halo 4 came out in November of last year and, since then, developer 343 Industries has released a variety of new content, both free and paid, not to mention many updates and patches.

The next big update is the weapons tuning one that's scheduled to appear on June 3 and will affect a variety of guns.

Besides actual weapons wielded by players, the patch also focuses on vehicle guns, in the form of the chainguns mounted on the Warthog and the Mantis.

These two weapons have received a 35% damage increase, according to the new Halo Bulletin, and should provide a lot of help in objective play and Slayer domination.
