Video game developer FreeStyleGames and publisher Activision have already announced that they are working on a new title called Guitar Hero Live, and they are now offering the official trailer for the music title.

The footage starts backstage and focuses on the way the new game will use the first-person mode to offer a more intimate take on the process of playing music.

The crowd interactions are also featured front and center in the trailer for Guitar Hero Live.

The official announcement does not offer too many new details about the core game features, but it mentions the new guitar controller and the GTV network, which will deliver a 24-hour stream of videos.

Guitar Hero Live is set to be introduced on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and last-gen consoles in the fall, for the price of 99 dollars or Euro.

Activision has not yet offered an official list of the songs that will be included in the music game and negotiations are on-going with a number of record companies.

Guitar Hero Live will face tough competition from the new Rock Band title, which was announced earlier in the year and will deliver a multi-instrument experience with a focus on the content introduced in previous games in the series.
