The studio is currently involved in a "high profile, multi-million selling franchise"

Guerrilla Cambridge was said to be working on a new PlayStation 4 game, and today Sony Computer Entertainment confirms it through a job listing.

Apparently, the studio is seeking an audio programmer with prior experience in console audio development, listing the candidate's responsibilities to be "improving and implementing in-house tools, engine and gameplay audio features."

The listing states that Guerrilla's Cambridge Studio, based in the UK, is looking for an audio programmer to work on forthcoming projects in a high-profile, multi-million selling franchise. While the indicated "forthcoming projects" are a little vague as to what exactly the programmer will be working on, taking into account the small scale of the studio, it's likely that the PS4 game that we learned about a while ago is the culprit.

The most obvious solution to the "high-profile, multi-million selling franchise" part of the puzzle is, of course, Killzone, especially considering the good job that Guerrilla Cambridge did making Killzone: Mercenary for the PlayStation Vita platform.

The main part of Guerrilla Games is currently working on developing a new IP, so that could mean that the Killzone franchise has been moved to Cambridge's hands for the time being.

Another likely candidate would be a reboot of MediEvil, another PlayStation exclusive franchise that has been lying dormant for close to a decade. Considering that, Guerrilla Cambridge created the three games in the series, back when they were known simply as SCE Cambridge Studio.
