The team of Iron Lore veterans working on the action role-playing game Grim Dawn has announced that it is looking to attract extra money via Kickstarter from the fan base by announcing a number of extra content that will be added to the game as long as certain goals are reached during the last week of the crowd funding effort.

The potential new additions to the game are linked to the amount of money the project ends up with and includes: dual wielding pistols at 350,000 dollars (270,700 Euro) and it then escalates through 25 pieces of new item art, a new game end boss, another 25 pieces of art, a new environment, 2 monster types, two handed melee weapons, another end game boss and a new survivor town if the funding reaches 480,000 dollars (371,373 Euro).

Grim Dawn plans to offer an old-school action role-playing experience, with an open world, no DRM and mods tools to allow the community to create their own content.
